Today is a bright summer morning and I have just reached my small office in the suburbs where my kids are waiting anxiously to greet me. Surprised that I keep my kids in the office? Well Well! I am referring to my 50 pets those are almost like my kids when it comes to affection and warmth that we share between us. 'Petland' is the name of my franchise store. Today, being their vaccination day, I was up early and drove straight to the office, as the Vet would be here any moment. Everything is ready. My assistant has come in too and I just have to log on to my system and open the detailed reports of their vaccination. It should not take me more than a minute to organize it… hopefully.

But hey! What's this? I just can't log on to the Microsoft Office 2010 file!! Good heavens. What is wrong with the system now? Anne, my assistant, had reminded me last night to take a printout of the vaccination file… I admit, I was a little lazy and kept it for the morning, but for heaven's sake who anticipates such an issue? Time is ticking by… More than worrying about how Anne would react, I guess I have to take charge of the situation. Before I call for help, wouldn't it be better to check it myself?

After some time, I decided to upgrade my office computer. I was a bit confused, but decided to do it on my own. I thought of installing the latest version of Windows on my computer. Then one of my colleagues asked me to install Windows 7 on my computer. So, I got Windows 7 downloaded and started installing it. Suddenly, I saw that my computer screen got stuck at one place. It wasn’t loading. I got disturbed after seeing this. I tried to install it again and what I see is that my screen got stuck at the same position repeatedly. I believe that Windows 7 freezes and ultimately I was unable to install it.

I got frustrated doing this and decided not to install Windows 7, anymore. The next day, when I reached office, one of my colleagues asked the reason for my sour mood. I told him the whole story. A Trojan horse is used to describe a program which looks like a normal program and is also capable of hiding itself from being caught. It does not have the capability of replicating like the viruses and worms. It is also under the category of malicious program like virus and worms having the extraordinary capability of haring your computer system. This is not the complete list of threats, which can harm your computer. The list includes too many programs with cruel intentions. The antivirus software and the interent security threats are thought of as an immune mechanism to fight against such threats. A good antivirus and internet security suite should be able to locate and delete the viruses and other dangerous threats.
